I have been painting a Nostalgia series of subjects from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, things are mean something to me or bring back a memory like a Kombi van, old telephone etc and I saw this photo on Unsplash and I remembered the days I used to have to drag my little sister and brothers to the local Warwick show. Mum would give me $2.00 and that would get us all a show bag, a couple of rides and an ice cream...it was so much fun...the merry-go-round horses used to mesmerize me...
