I dragged out the paints, canvas and brushes again from storage to paint this gorgeous wattle in a beautiful blue vase. A little bit different from other still life I have done but it's lovely and bright and totally gorgeous to look at. We have three wattle trees on the fire trail behind our house, that have only just survived the drought and I adore it when they blossom, although my husband is completely allergic!
