A merging of men. Reflecting on the relationships between the men in my family, I have created a kind of hybrid portrait. The way we all interact as men and the different roles we take on are carved into the face, many layers making up the whole. Roles and relationships are always a work in progress, and great progress can be made in unexpected circumstances. Mainly I see this piece as a totem of bonding and healing.
