The title 'Fusion' refers to the nuclear fusion reactions taking place inside stars like our sun, providing the earth with the energy it needs to thrive.
It also refers to the way the products of stars, the ever more complex and varied elements, are combined to form ever more complex molecules in places like our earth; these molecules then combining to form life as we know it. What an incredible, fascinating, humbling process that we are part of!
The colours I have used refer to this energy cycle. The reds and oranges for the forge of the sun, the blues and greens for the biosphere of the earth. The circular form refers to the spherical nature of celestial forms, and also the circular nature of the cycle of life itself.
