The first in my series of intense, beautiful, resilient women that inspire and drive the feminist discourse is Australian of the Year 2021, Grace Tame. A sexual abuse survivor who now advocates for others and changes in the law. While the fight for justice for survivors is far from over, Tame says she will "keep going on this train of change" Her mantra, 'Eat My Fear', is tattooed on the back of her hand, and I wanted to put those words into my portrait of her.
