Coopers Shoot is a slice of heaven in the hinterland 13km from Byron Bay, NSW. Its rolling hills and dotted orchards are redolent of Tuscany as well as being influenced by the landscapes of American artist, Grant Wood. Here my two sons (aged four and nine) are raised and being with them inspires me to see the landscape through their eyes β trees become Easter eggs and foliage grows in zig zags. No colour is subdued. Looking from above the fields feels like being on a roller coaster.
