My artwork reveals the curiosity about the relationship between different shapes and forms, with their own personalities, and their constantly evolving shadows. These shadows often play out amongst the striking patterns on tablecloths, curtains, blinds, wallpaper, bowls and vases in my artwork, and you can almost hear the conversations they’re having with each other. In this quirky painting you can see the personal attachment I have to my subject matter strongly influenced by Australian artists such as Margaret Olley, Margaret Preston, Cressida Campbell and Criss Canning.
