We love it when Kookaburras come to visit our garden. Their laughing call can be heard across the valley. One of my favorite birds to paint and many have flown to new homes. They are the largest bird of the Kingfisher family and native to woodlands and forests in Australia. This is one of my smaller paintings, ready to hang and is painted on a 31 cm x 31 cm canvas.
