We all need time out from our busy lives to appreciate nature. I tend to add poetry to my works from time to time to convey my thoughts on why I was moved to paint a subject. After holding an exhibition at the beautiful Everglades Gardens Gallery in the Blue Mountains and looking out at this view I wanted to capture the peace and quiet of this beautiful place.

Winding along the swaying trees,
along the grass in a gentle breeze.
Your mind can rest for just a while,
