Sometimes you see a scene and you can’t believe it is real – you are witnessing such incredible beauty it almost seems like a dream. A perfect mix of colours lights up the sky making you feel elated! This sunset over the beach reflects an incredible sky – the mirror-like wash repeating those perfect mix of colours. Oh, to be one of those birds soaring through the clouds!
When working on this piece I added my impasto gel just above the horizon. The texture helped to create the drama in the clouds, and movement in the crashing waves.
