It was a fascinating morning watching these three men fishing in the traditional way by dragging a large net out into the water from the beach at Akoroa in New Zealand's south island . Later they waded chest high back through the waves and landed the net to check the catch. I absolutely loved the way the golden headland sang against the blues of the sky and sea and those cliff reflections in the wet sand were compelling. This golden summer painting is framed in a simple wooden frame that really complements the colours of the landscape. and will add a warm glow to any room.
