This painting is different than my normal palette, but sometimes you just have to mix it up a little.
The shape of the water is inspired by Serpentine Dam in Western Australia. Serpentine Dam was built in the late 1950's as during that time Perth was in urgent need of water.
I have combined some of my favourite birds flying over head, some majestic yellow tailed black cockatoo's. Last weekend we were away camping and a pair were flying about overhead, I could hear their call long before I saw them.
Painted on professional series stretched boxed canvas with black painted sides, the painting comes sealed in a satin finish, signed and ready to hang.
The painting also comes accompanied with a Bluethumb Certificate of Authenticity.
