Blue-eyed cockatoos are a large mainly white cockatoo, their crest hangs at the back, very different to that of the sulfur crested cockatoo. The blue-eyed cockatoo gets its name from a blue rim of featherless skin around each eye. They are endemic to Papua New Guinea.
