This painting reminds me a camping trip we went on when the kids were little, we went to Oallen Ford in the winter. We had planned for the kids to try and pan for gold and to camp there the night. After about 2 minutes of panning our little boy who would have been about 3 at the time, found it more fun to wade in the water and throw rocks.

The ground there was so rocky EVERYWHERE, and we were in a tent so we decided not to stay the night, but I will never forget the rocky creek bed where many a person would have panned for gold.
