Reproduction Print on paper

Signed and numbered on the front.

This etching is of an Emperor penguin chick in Anarctica. These birds show the most amazing resilience and adaptation to the harshest of environments.

The shadow on the snow was achieved using an experimental technique using steel wool to scratch off the hard-ground wax prior to placing the plate in the acid.
