Artwork Description

Western Bowerbird - A companion etching for Western Bowerbird 1. These etchings were made after observing the birds building their bowers in Olive Pink Botanic Gardens in Alice Springs. They are active, noisy characters with beautiful speckled black and gold plumage and a shock of electric pink feathers on the back of the head. They gather white objects to display at the entrance of the bowers.
