An in depth exploration of a dried up outback dam with all of the deep cracks, textured layers and rocky looking cushion bushes in high detail. Painted in a representational style it has touches of impasto texture through the bushes growing in the dam. I have always been drawn to the outback and all its harsh yet beautiful places and never more so as now with nature struggling with a changing climate.
