One of my favourite flowers is the poppy for its vibrant, cheerful open face and variety of colour. I was in my garden thinking about adding some poppies to my garden beds and dreaming of a field of poppies stretching as far as the eye could see. On a bright, sunny day with brilliant blue skies the yellows and pinks of the poppies seemed like the perfect representation of natures own perfect palette.
