As an artist living in the Riverina I am constantly inspired by my surroundings. This little chapel was built in the 1870's in Brucedale, Wagga Wagga and has been well looked after and well used over the many years. When you enter the chapel you can almost hear footsteps of all those people who have used the space. You can see the scuff marks on the original wood floors and brush your hand over the door frame like many hundreds of people before you. The sense of history in this little space feels so special. It is a subject that I plan to capture from every angle - I dont think I could get sick of it.
