Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

I have done a few studies of this particular banksia tree branch because I was so attracted to its fibonacci shape and the the tonal variations in the leaves. I wanted to express the liveness and vibrancy of spring in full bloom and portray nature as the source of wonder and joy.

This painting was created mostly with acrylics and some oil paint, it has lots of lovely textural detail and beautiful lines.
