This painting was completed after I visited Mettam’s Pool, a northern beach in Perth, on a windy but sunny afternoon this year. The rocks were magnificent with lots of interesting shapes and I loved the foam and spray on the acqua water. This painting would give you the feeling of being on the beach with the wind whipping through your hair and making the water into a kaleidoscope of white spray and blue water. It would fit into any decor. It has been painted in oil on canvas and has a well-made white frame. I used some palette knife to give a thicker texture to some areas of the painting.
