Blissful belongs to a body of work that was influenced by nature's ability to create stunning patterns and colour variations. Using Acrylics in a fluid form allows me to recreate some of these unpredictable textures and shapes. Quite often the pouring results in beautiful backgrounds and whenever I can see an object or a scenery in the final pour I endeavour to bring out my vision to the viewer. This fluid pour was created with the flip cup method. With this method Acrylic paint is mixed with Floetrol and Dimethone and water is added to make it fluid, Then all colors are added one by one into a cup or container. A canvas or surface is placed painting side down onto the cup and then quickly turned upside down without the paint escaping. The cup is lifted with a swift movement, allowing the paint to escape and flow across the canvas. A heat source is applied to bringing out the developing cells

This specific pour resulted in colours and shapes that reminded me of being under water. As Turtles are one of my favourite subjects, the poured background almost begged me to make it a home for a turtle diving blissfully into the deep ocean. This painting is an unique and one off only, original painting created in 2017

For this fluid pour I have used Global Acrylic Paint, Floetrol as a painting medium and Dimethicone to help create cells. It was poured onto 300msg acrylic paper and it is framed with a black modern timber frame with white mat protected by glass. The size of the artwork is 21cm by 31cm and the size of the frame is 29cm by 39cm. It has 2 D-rings with wire attached at the back and is ready to hang and to brighten up your home

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting.

Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out within 1-3 business days. The Artwork is signed on the Front when possible.
