Neu Zealand's Pukeko are also living next to our backyard as they like to be close to the reeds in the water. The birds body is mainly dusky black blue, revealing a white under tail that looks like it is loosing a big white egg, It's collar is a lighter blue blue and is has huge toes. We almost have problem keeping the Pukeko out of our backyard as they are not shy at all.

This Acrylic painting on canvas board  20cm x 25cm is framed with a modern black timber frame 28cm wide by 39cm high. The painting is finished with a white mat and protected by glass.. 2 D-rings and hanging wire are attached to the back and it is ready to hang.
