The background was created by pouring Art Spectrum Inks onto wet rice paper. It looked like a landscape to me, so I added the Heron on one side of the paper, and the Eagle on the other, so they could fly free over the rocks, reeds, and water ways of the out back, towards the approaching storm. See the last photo of detail images for the Eagle side. Two for the price of one. At present it is framed between 2 pieces of glass, thin black wood frame. There is a 4.5 cm border left clear around the painting, so the wall color shows through as the mat. Lovely displayed on either side.
