Colour was the inspiration behind this piece. I have completed quite a few pelican paintings, but this one was inspired by all the blues and greens of the water highlighted by the popping whites of the birds. It's calm and serene, cool but somehow moody as the boat drifts across the water, casting a dark shadow and reflection. The sides are painted, it's varnished and ready to hang with wire across the back. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
