I like to paint what's usually not there and this piece is no exception. My son has recently commenced flight school so our house is full of aviation talk, books and charts etc. Therefore painting the cows in an old disused airfield seemed quite normal to me, a natural extension of my world and cows are my most favourite animals to paint. The sides are painted, its varnished and ready to hang.
