I draw upon many influence with my painting, from Reg Mombassa to Sidney Nolan, however this piece is inspired by the work of Paul Klee. I sometimes wonder how Paul Klee would have seen and painted in Australia if he ever come here.

This painting is an exploration into the colours and patterns that occur in and the spiritual connectedness of the Australian landscape.
