Out of the Fire.
Whilst travelling through the Black Range Forest in Victoria, we saw the charred remains of a bushfire. The tops of the hills looked as if they’d had a crew cut with sticks of wood jutting above the ridges. But here and there were the beginnings of bright green shoots clinging to seemingly dead branches.
Glad I’ve painted this because it’s been swirling around like smoke since we went through that area.
The Aussie bush flora has so many amazing adaptations to deal with all Mother Nature throws at It.
