Artwork Description

"Field of Dreams" our beautiful Rock, Uluru, in the Red Centre of Australia. This painting was inspired by a photo in the Good Weekend Australia by Mark Pickthall, April 30th 2016. I'm probably not supposed to paint it but couldn't stop myself. It epitomises our land. "Field of Light " is actually an installation of 50,000 frosted glass spheres on stems laid out on the blood red sands near Uluru. It covers 40,000 square metres and looks like a field of futuristic flowers blooming between tufts of spinifex. ( from the article) For any of you who have yet to visit this most ancient , beautiful and unique land, Bruce Munro is the artist behind this wonderful idea. Hope you like my interpretation.

A beautiful intricate birds nest amongst leaves and flowers and the two little birds who created it.A sultry dark sky broods over a windswept beach with some flowers .......Under a picturesque sky, there is an old fence and secret gate leading to a hidden pond.A small red roofed cottage is tucked away on a meadow covered hill under a beautiful sky.
