March of the Sugar Ants.
Beautiful reds and ochres in this painting, created after watching an SBS documentary on how they made yellow ochre, umber and burnt sienna from heating clay containing iron oxide.
Must of been a lot of work being an artist back in those days.
60x60cm.

A beautiful intricate birds nest amongst leaves and flowers and the two little birds who created it.A sultry dark sky broods over a windswept beach with some flowers .......Under a picturesque sky, there is an old fence and secret gate leading to a hidden pond.A small red roofed cottage is tucked away on a meadow covered hill under a beautiful sky.
