Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This painting was inspired by the morning sun making its way over the eastern river bank of the Darling River in western NSW and peeping between the beautiful river gums. Rivers are important and beautiful natural systems that need to be appreciated and preserved. The Darling River has a rugged beauty which is very dear to my heart. The aboriginal people have long referred to the River system as "the Lifeblood of the Community".
