My work is influenced greatly by the European and Australian Impressionists. Here we have a road which winds it’s way back into the distance. Homes and livestock purposefully left out exaggerate the view. It is landscape in pure impressionist form, made possible from studying the drawings of the Great Vincent Van Gogh. This piece is highly textured to show growth in the outlying fields.
The colbolt blue and ultramarine variations, warm and cool greens give a sense of depth and distance.
A stand alone piece of landscape.
Painted around the edges. No frame necessary. Ready to hang.
