Reproduction Print on paper
Signed and numbered on the front.
This image of Salamanca Place, Hobart, has taken me 34 years to create. In 1987 I was approached by the Salamanca Merchants' Association to do a line drawing showing all the shopfronts, which would be used for an historically informative brochure they were having printed. In those days, desktop publishing was in its infancy; there were no digital cameras or Google Maps. I can remember carefully pacing out and recording on paper the distances and dimensions of each property's front, from what was then a flour mill at the left, to Stoppy's Hotel on the right.
Please note that this print is being offered unframed. To have it framed similar to the photos here would be in the vicinity of $150.
Note also that there is an area of blank paper at top and bottom of print which is not visible in the photos shown here.
The print has been UV protected using Hahnemuhle Protective Spray.
Print on 300gsm Canson Montval watercolour paper
