This work is one of a series of responses to my NSW New England hometown of Deepwater. Since I was a child I've observed and explored what I'd call 'New England Gothic', capturing the English elements of this landscape and reinterpreting these through visual storytelling. In this case, it recreates the story of Virginia Woolf in an Australian landscape. The work is framed in a new, vintage-style moulding (pictured), with framed dimensions of 52 x 52cm.
