This piece was inspired by a helicopter ride I took over the Great Barrier Reef on a visit to the Whitsundays. The beautiful blues and turquoises have been replicated by the beautiful mixing of the resin. The piece sparkles in the light with the inclusion of micro glitter in the many layers of resin and there are a few points on the piece where the coral breaches the surface of the water, giving the piece a great feeling of depth whilst beckoning people to touch it in order to fully absorb the scene. The multiple layers of resin also give the piece a real feeling of depth as when viewed from various angles, you can see the coral reef disappearing into the tranquil waters. The piece is framed in a beautiful timber floating frame and is ready to hang on any wall to add a splash of colour to your wall.
