I went back to my fantasy portrait roots with this drawing. I'm always looking to tell a story with my portraits while portraying a figure who is somewhere between broken and strong. In this case, I wanted to show a woman who broke free from capture and has overcome her fear and weakness. The net is no longer a symbol of her fear but her strength. She wears it like a dress.
