Meet the happiest flower around!
It is already celebrating the festive season with its eye popping colours!
This is Grevillea Olivacea and it is endemic to the South West of Western Australia.

Found this little beauty whilst travelling to Pinjarra in the South West to take Art Workshops.
It was bursting out of its shrub with flowers looking like exploding fireworks.

Creatively it was a challenge with all its sculptural twirls and pods that create this very 3 dimensional flower. Reminds me of the curling ribbon found on gifts at this time of the year.

It always makes me smile and I hope it does for you too.

The interior shots are for inspiration only and may not be true to scale.

It will leave the studio as an unframed piece that will allow you to take advantage of Bluethumb's great framing service where you can select the frame that best suits your taste and style.
