Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

Meet this somewhat cheeky Magpie we came across as we were having lunch at Govetts Leap Lookout in Blackheath, Blue Mountains. His golden eyes taking in our every move, in order to pounce on any morsel coming his way. "Cheeky Magpie on Iridescent Teal" was definitely somewhat of a challenge, but I enjoyed the process all the same, and I feel I'll be creating a few more of the same but different coloured backgrounds. A shame the images don't do the shiny speckled surface of the iridescent medium justice.
