Ocean Grove Nature Reserve is a little patch of native bushland relatively untouched since Mathew Flinders first set foot on the Bellarine Peninsula. This little billabong fills up with water after heavy rains creating little islands. It's one of my most favourite places to paint. This painting was painted entirely en plein air (ie on location).
