Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
Western Australia offers a wonderful granite coast and headlands with historic lighthouses like this 1896 tower, 56 metres above tide level. Seen from the beach full of great granite boulders it seems dwarfed. Scale is everything, and as this is the farthest west of Australia's light houses and at the most southwesterly corner of the continent, I was in every way impressed with this landscape. The rock type gives the surrounding sea its beautiful aqua blue.
