This is my intepretation of the Birth of Venus or Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty from the Greek mythology. She was born fully grown from sea foam. I use sea shell and blooming red rose to signify her birth. Red rose also known as the flower of Venus. Butterflies denote spring time, the season of rebirth, renewal and resurrection.
