Mandarin has various symbolic meanings. In China, mandarin is a symbol of luck and wealth. Orange is a colour of joy and creativity. I want to capture the essence of this meaning of this fascinating fruit and I hope that the viewer can feel that happiness and calm when looking at this painting.
