This beautiful jade ginger jar (one of a pair) has featured a few times in my paintings. They originally belonged to my mother who brought it back from China many decades ago. We have quite a number of Chinese antiques, now dispersed amongst the family. I’m very much inspired by their stunning jewel colours and try to incorporate one or two in my art.
Painted in professional acrylic paints on stretched good quality canvas and varnished with two coats to protect the art.
