"Transient Moments" is a beautiful atmospheric watercolour painting. I completed this painting after a trip to the Yorkshire Dales in the UK. Inspired by the changing colours of the landscape and the transient shadow shapes created by the incoming cloud I felt the watercolour medium captured the glow like no other medium can. To produce variegated watercolour washes on this scale takes many years of practice and dedication to watercolour painting. It is my favourite medium. This painting was one of only 10 finalists in the Australian Artist Magazine, Landscapes Prize, March 2013. This original painting comes with an off white matt of 100mm (seen in the additional image). It also comes with the foamboard backing to protect it. It will only need a frame and glass and it can be hung.
