Oil painting on canvas in my local coastal area of a wooden circa 1913 house on the esplanade at Brighton South Australia. This was the house of Dr Todd, one of the early doctors in Brighton. He was the son of Charles Todd who in around 1857[8] or 1859 conceived the idea of the transcontinental telegraph line from Adelaide to Darwin.
