‘Canberra II’ is a depiction of the Coral Sea observed from the quarter deck of the RAN flagship HMAS Canberra. It was my permissible AWOL from the confines of the ship.

'Canberra II' evinces the connection between service personnel and the sea, a relationship forged in conflict for hundreds of years. The calming solace of the ocean belies the maelstrom of the battle surrounding it. A chaotic serenity at Sea
