This artwork was inspired by my time living and teaching in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Saigon River has been and still is to a lesser degree, the life blood of the city. In the wet season, parts of the city would be submerged but life continued irrespective of the deluges that threatened it. This painting depicts an imaginary city in flux: a living, beautiful thing.
