This is a painting of someone lost in deep thought. It is a wintery image, the colour and the body language creating an atmosphere that is cool, yet intense. There is an interesting juxtaposition between the organic shapes of the person and the geometric shapes in the surrounding environment. It is an urban environment. I am interested in the importance of allowing oneself time to think in an increasingly overstimulated world.
