Artwork Description

When I first saw Raby Bay Harbour, in Cleveland, one of the suburbs of Brisbane, I was immediately taken by the organised, almost musical rhythm of its shapes and relaxed atmosphere. It was an inspiring and challenging combination for a painting.
“Pink Dawn” is a lyrical exploration of geometry in landscape. The relationships between the shapes, mostly triangles and circles, and parallel lines, provide a fascinating game for the eyes.

A beach scene with two boys fishing Impressionist style painting of a young boy with a red horse. The colour scheme is primarily composed of reds, blues, and greens with beautiful rolling, pink and green hills in the background. The shapes of this painting incorporate geometrical harmony with round elements repeating themselves in both the foreground and background to create a sense of continuity.Dancing centaurs in spring with jacarandas in the background
