This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by Perth Medium Format film photographer, Ray Stone (@Raystonephoto on Instagram) and uses a limited colour pallette to capture the glow of the afternoon sun on the cottage walls. A combination of muted greys against the more saturated oranges are used to create the feeling of warmth.
